Showing

During the Summer, you may find us at agricultural shows showing our Lincoln Red cattle and, occasionally, our Lincoln Longwool sheep.

Our prefix for both breeds is Axholme which reflects the history of the area.

Axholme is known as Britians oldest inland island.

Meet the farmers

Jamie is a veteran having served in the Royal Air Force Regiment.  Jamie has worked with animals since leaving HM Forces and has worked with animals on films such as Land Girls and Robin Hood plus others.  He has also hosted 'A Year in Farming' on BBC Radio Humberside.  Jamie prefers showing sheep to cows at shows.

Sue is a qualified EHO and is often found completing the paperwork for the farm or showing cattle at agricultural shows.  When she is not at her full time job, she can be found down the farm.
